Homecoming
Every year thousands of students come together for a common cause: Homecoming. More than half of the students there don't even care for football the other 4 months of their season, but all come for the very common attraction, tailgating. Like every year, students and alumni come from all over, park there cars, eat, celebrate, and most of all drink. It's interesting to have such a destructive tradition a proud and annual event for UNH. This year, word went around about a URI student being physically assaulted for even being there at all. School pride and rivalry is understood to a certain level, but there is really no excuse for such violent activity to take place over a football game due to drunken tempers and over load of testosterone. He apparently was bleeding from his head and was seen by many UNH students. Looking over the news, there was no article to be found. Something that should be reported no doubt, went under the radar of the proud UNH day, nothing could bring there spirits down.
