Shark Attack.. or should I say dog attack

Shark Attack

An Amity high school senior was found mauled to death by an unidentified attacker after disappearing during a late night swim. Police are investigating the murder.
Chrissie Watson, 17 of Amity, was last seen leaving a beach party with Christopher P. Hoggenbottam 111, a Trinity college sophomore. Both were heavily intoxicated on their way to go for a late night swim at a remote section of South Beach near South Beach Shoal bell buoy according to Police Chief, Martin Brody.
“I saw what was left of this body,” Brody said. “There was a hand sticking up out of sand with some jewelry on it and that was about all I saw. It was in a pile of sand and seaweed and there were crabs crawling around the scene. I’ll save the rest for the sake of the family. It was a grizzly scene.”
After a night of no return, Hoggenbottam reported the missing person to the police around 6 a.m. He said to have passed out on the beach and reported the young woman missing as soon as he awoke according to Police Chief.
Watson was a member of the Amity Varsity swim team, and a lifeguard at the Amity Island YMCA pool in Oak Bluffs. The night was calm, wind was blowing south at 3.45 mph at 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
“We are still waiting for word on autopsy,” Brody said. “We are exploring an entire range of possibilities. Could be a pack of wild dogs. Could have been an assault by an individual or a group of individuals.”
The beaches remain open to the public and swimming is not prohibited. Despite the death of young Watson, police believe that there is reason for her death other than her late night swim.
“A shark attack is just one of the things we are looking into,” Brody said. “I really doubt that, it just doesn’t happen in this neck of the woods. It would happen in the beaches down south.”
The death is still being investigated and police are still waiting on autopsy results to reveal the method of death of Watson.

Music

Music is the key's to ones soul. Whether one likes rap but the other likes hardcore, it shows a part of someone that can't just simply be explained. It's something that is expressed, and it brings out a part in someone that they can't quite express in themselves. Concerts are interesting, no matter the genre to me. I will go to a concert of someone I may have never even heard of or never bothered to listen to because I knew I would dislike them. A concert shows the artists intentions of their art. The feelings they express in their lyrics, and it shows a different side to their music. No matter the person, there is a part of them that may even hate music, because of reasons they have for themselves. It reminds me of my writing. This blog is always so hard for me because I try to express something I'm not sure I care about when I begin writing. Every blog I have written has started from a random thought in my head and turned into completely different. It may be completely disorganized, or maybe just my way of finding how to express myself. Like music, if I ever have writers block I will shuffle through my outdated ITunes until I find something that brings out inspiration and something I haven't thought of before or rather, written about.

Distance

Isn't it weird how one day you can be in the comfort of your home, then the next be in a completely foreign country you've barely even heard of. Or when you visit a friend at school and you party all weekend long, for the celebration never ended after that 4 month long deprivation of familiar life long friends was finally reconciled. You trick your mind into a state of numbness as you travel from place to place, and never really pass time at all. The act of traveling is so odd. You sit down for hours on end, whether it be behind a wheel, or being chauffeured around like a first class businessman, and then all of a sudden you are hours from where you last were and yet time still keeps moving and soon enough those hours will come back and bring you right back where you were. It's almost a tease. A tease of the comfort you used to have and then a sense of adulthood where nothing can stop you from being wherever you want. It all comes together in my mind, but then again I am yet to be the one to do much traveling other than my hometown and Durham. Its those who travel who inspire these thoughts, and drive my desires through the roof with anticipation of when and where to go next.

End of semester

End of semester blues, or rather a never ending schedule of make up work and current work you really can't decipher the difference between anymore. Whether it something you learned a day ago or 3 weeks ago, it's all blurred into one. That last few weeks of the semester where everyone is just about done with everything, but right when everything packs in and sends students stress levels from 1 to 100 in a matter of seconds. That final grade, the final paper and that final portfolio. The fews things that lie between students and there month long break of warm beds and fires keeping the cold away. The ultimate definition of human hibernation. Until all is done, the library becomes packed until wee hours of the night, and a full nights sleep becomes a faint memory until you're able to meet again.

What started out as a one man kill turned out to be a deadly day in New York City. Five dead and one exhausted police detective, the attempted assassination of detective Popeye was unsuccessful.
Pierre Jeantot, 36, of Nice, France, was the cause to this horrific massacre. Killing four innocent pedestrians before being killed himself at 4:06 p.m. On Sunday.
After the first shot was fired Popeye took cover and began to chase the suspected assassin. He chased him from 35th St. station to 15th street station in the car of a stranger. After several crashes, he exited the car and pursued his target.
Between the stations, the shooter made it onto the train and made his way to the front, in order to convince the trainman to listening to his every call with a gun to his head. In attempt of looking Popeye’s trail he skipped the fifth avenue stop and continued on with the trainman in complete shock.
Shooting everyone who got in his way, he left pedestrians terrified and hopeful for life as he held a gun to all their faces.
After a deadly chase, Popeye spotted the shooter limping from the train after he fell to the ground after a halted stop. He follows his prey with his eyes for a few moments until he met him on the stairs. After collapsing of exhaustion, the shooter almost got away, until he shot him in the back.

Fluffy's on the loose

Crying kids, scowling parents and beloved owners gather for urgent news that Fluffy, beloved spotted leopard is missing from her cage at the Durham Zoo.
Crowds are angry and demanding as people try to push through to listen to the conference being held. Gerry Durrell, Zoo Director, speaks on behalf of the zoo to explain the situation at 10:15 this morning.
“When we opened the zoo at 9:30 this morning g and began feeding the animal, we immediately noticed Fluffy was missing,” Durrell said. “We have no idea what time Fluffy escaped or where she went. We are doing everything we can to find her and bring her back. We love that cat, and we don’t want to lose her.”
The whereabouts of Fluffy are completely unknown. Possible places range from the zoo, to possibly roaming the streets of Durham. Fluffy is a 146 pound cat that runs at 60 mph,  if she gets hungry, no one knows what may be her next meal.
“Fluffy is a wonderful, warm, gentle cat who has never hurt anyone,” Kitty Smith, the chief zoologist said. “[These cats] take the ‘kill now, ask later’ approach to life. We urge anyone who encounters Fluffy to get slowly to the ground, go limp, and lay still.”
The search is on for this extremely dangerous 10 year old, Romanian spotted leopard. Police fully equipped with tranquillizers and guns if necessary. The search is set to begin at 11 AM in the neighborhood of Durham, if Fluffy is not found within the zoo. New Hampshire State Police and state Wildlife Department have been called in to help with the search.
“We are concerned because this is a residential neighborhood with an elementary school and many daycare centersand we don’t want Fluffy wandering around after the kids get out of school,” Police Chief William Blair said. “We have got to find her by 2 p.m. If we don’t it could be a messy site.”
These leopard were driven to the brink of extinction in Romania due to their appetite for young children under the age of 8. Considering this very precise meal choice and the close vicinity of children around the area concerns are high. Tweets have confirmed that Durham elementary schools are now in a lockdown procedure, not knowing what will happen if this cat isn’t found.
