French Connection
What
started out as a one man kill turned out to be a deadly day in New York City.
Five dead and one exhausted police detective, the attempted assassination of
detective Popeye was unsuccessful.
Pierre
Jeantot, 36, of Nice, France, was the cause to this horrific massacre. Killing
four innocent pedestrians before being killed himself at 4:06 p.m. On Sunday.
After
the first shot was fired Popeye took cover and began to chase the suspected assassin.
He chased him from 35th St. station to 15th street
station in the car of a stranger. After several crashes, he exited the car and pursued
his target.
Between
the stations, the shooter made it onto the train and made his way to the front,
in order to convince the trainman to listening to his every call with a gun to
his head. In attempt of looking Popeye’s trail he skipped the fifth avenue stop
and continued on with the trainman in complete shock.
Shooting
everyone who got in his way, he left pedestrians terrified and hopeful for life
as he held a gun to all their faces.
After a
deadly chase, Popeye spotted the shooter limping from the train after he fell
to the ground after a halted stop. He follows his prey with his eyes for a few
moments until he met him on the stairs. After collapsing of exhaustion, the
shooter almost got away, until he shot him in the back.
