What is news?

   News is everything. It is what you see, what you hear, what you follow, it is everything around us on a daily basis. News is about discovering it, it may be right in front of you, but you have to find a certain angle in order to get the attention of others. Say there is a bombing, there is a reason people read about it from one newspaper over another, or look it up on Google rather than Yahoo. News is presented in a certain manor, where the guidelines are the same but the way you write it can be completely different than how the next person would. Details, interviews, facts, related incidents and so on are all important when writing about news. You must write a story that is all true, yet still interesting and different in order to make it different from the rest.
